The exhibition "FotoChina" (www.fotochina.de) presents the award winners of a China wide Photography competition, which was realized in 2005 on the occasion of the 120th jubilee of the chemical company BASF in China.
A distinctive Jury chooses the winners, and all of them will be shown in Mannheim first time outside of China. Strange aesthetics and the actual picture language create a surprising result: 120 young Chinese photographers reflect in their work the rapid changes and give us stunning views on central themes and the lines of development in the contemporary Chinese photography.
